After 12 years working for reputable residential and hospitality design firms in Atlanta and Saint Simons Island, Dee launched Dee Simmons Interiors in 2012. Dee’s travels, both professionally and personally, are a major source of inspiration. She prides herself on attention to detail and intimate collaboration with client, architect, contractor, and an array of other professionals and artisans for each project. While the location and style of the firm’s work is diverse, respect for local architecture and history of a project is at the core of Dee Simmons Interiors.
Dee also owns a showroom at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center in Atlanta with partner Martin Nash. The 4200 square foot showroom, named simply Martin Nash, brought a new, fresh energy to ADAC with an eclectic mix of exclusive furniture, lighting, artwork and objects. Dee’s eponymous line, Delinah Simmons, is yet another creative outlet. This is an ever evolving brand that boasts beautiful velvets, mohairs, and wools in luxurious colors. Dee also sources rare agate geodes from around the globe and a lifetime collection of silk scarves from icons such as Emilio Pucci and Vera Neumann have been fabricated into art and pillows.
